#CNSchallenge (Chicken Noodle Soup dance challenge) — is a dance flash mob launched by the BTS group in conjunction with the TikTok app. Its essence is to repeat the dance moves to the music of j-hope — Chicken Noodle Soup.

What is #CNSchallenge (Chicken Noodle Soup dance challenge)

On September 27th, 2019, Korean rapper and BTS member j-hope released a video for the song Chicken Noodle Soup.

This track is an interpolation of another popular song of the same name, recorded in 2006 by Webstar and Young B.

For the first day, the j-hope’s video scored almost 9 million views. Shortly afterwards, the rapper uploaded a short video on TikTok. In the video, he repeats the dance from Chicken Noodle Soup and encourages subscribers to participate in the flash mob.

Dance challenge #CNSchallenge quickly became viral. People started recording their dance videos on TikTok, Twitter and Instagram.

As it became known to Memepedia, #CNSchallenge became the second official collaboration between BTS and TikTok. The first was IDOL Challenge, which took place a year ago.
