Polish cow (Dancing Cow, Tylko Jedno W Głowie Mam) – is a meme with a black and white cow dancing to a Polish song.

Origin of Dancing Polish Cow meme

On October 19, 2015, the Polish artist Cypis Solo released the track “Gdzie jest biały węgorz”. The title of the song is translated as: “Where is delirium tremens?”

The lyrical hero of this song talks about drug withdrawal. He sings about how bad he is and how he cannot get rid of addiction. And all this accompanied by a cheerful melody. The track begins with the words of Tylko Jedno W Głowie Mam (“I only have one thing on my mind”).

The clip was posted on YouTube. Over 5 years, the video has gained 18 million views. However, the song received viral popularity only in 2020.

It all started in mid-July. For some reason, youtubers started using the track for their humorous videos. People would take a melody and put it on a video of someone dancing.

On July 13, 2020, YouTuber Dejman made a video of an ordinary cow dancing to Polish music. A similar GIF without music was taken as a basis.

An hour-long version of the dancing cow meme went viral on the web. At the same time, a version with a came out. But it was the cow that became the recognizable meme.

In the days that followed, various variations of the meme began to appear on YouTube and elsewhere. People put the Cypis song on other videos or vice versa – they made the cow dance to a different music.

The author himself is aware that his song has become a meme. Cypis Solo posted a video of a boy dancing to the track on his . And later he even published an official remix with a Polish cow.
